Through my interviews, I attempted to show two different perspectives regarding emigrating one's homeland. One of my interviewees immigrated to Puerto Rico as a middle-aged woman, while the other is a second-generation immigrant. I studied how these distinct circumstances affected their thoughts and feelings towards Venezuela and their knowledge on the current political situation.
